We’ve been threatening to do this for a while…so here we go….
1001 snatches without a hand change
Here’s the rules… do snatches…do NOT put down…you can rest in the overhead lockout position ONLY (NOT the rack, not on the floor etc). Anything less terminates your set
Now – this being the first time, and the prospect being rather daunting, we took a conservative approach and used 12kg (better to finish and realise that going heavier is manageable, than to fail and go down in weight).
One of the ladies used 10kg (to completion).
We worked at a fixed tempo of 18rpm – in retrospect this was too slow for the weight in hand, but might be right for something heavier.
Next up… 14kg/16kg … OR maybe 1001 on each hand!
