Costs:

  • monthly rate (IKFF Africa): R400* per month (you also need to be a member at Moove MFC Sunninghill [~R395/pm for Discovery members])
    1. unlimited group sessions – you can train as often as you like
    2. (monthly members get automatic/free access to the online system)
  • Online system (ONLY) : R750* per month

If you’re a once-a-week candidate, paying per session is cheaper.
For the (sensible) people doing 2+ sessions per week, the monthly fee works out cheaper

Private session rates…
1-on-1 R400 (R400ea)
2-on-1 R700 (R350ea)
3-on-1 R900 (R300ea)
4+ R250ea


What you need

Clothes you can sweat in, and a sweat towel.
Flat Soled shoes that don’t offer too much cushioning. (We recommend Vibram Fivefingers, or weightlifting shoes (Risto, Reebok/Inov8/Adidas Olympic Weightlifting/Crossfit shoes, etc)
For 1st timers, some gloves and wrist guards are maybe not such a bad idea.
A bottle of your favourite training drink.

  1. Good afternoon,

    I work a job in construction and will shortly be sent to a remote location where I will only have my 24kg and 32kg kettlebells for company. Do you have some guidelines for effective programming or alternatively a course that could teach the principles of kettlebell prograwm design?

    On a separate note, does IKFF Africa host any kettlebell sport competitions. and if so where can I get additional information?

    1. Hi Armand. We do offer courses which cover this topic.
      In the meantime, there is a daily workout posted on https://wotd.ikff.za.net/ which changes/updates every day

    It was great to meet you on Friday. Thanks for the intro and tour of your facilities, it was fascinating and great!

    Please can you send me more info on how Cornelia and I can do KB training/course with you? As we are in Boksburg it will not be possible to attend during the week. You did speak about doing a Saturday morning beginner class or something to that effect. I would also like to invite some of my running buddies to do it with us.

    Let me know what options are available to us and I will see what we can do. Really appreciate the help.

      You are welcome to just bring everyone along and join a Saturday class (first/trial session is free). If anyone is a bit shy, we can arrange a semi-private class for your team after the main class is finished.
