100 x 100rep challenges

I have an idea which will take Rannoch Donalds 100 rep challenge to a new and evil level.   How about we do… 100 different 100 rep challenges? (total is 10,000 reps) I will compile a list of suitable exercises and maybe we could get some corporate sponsors to fund a charity day where they pay say R1/rep. Anyone with ideas on potential sponsors please let me know No date selected (yet)…but I guess we better start getting ready – ‘cos once the idea is planted….. well… you all know what’s gonna happen

1000’s

Well… seems like all the hectic challenges we’ve got so far involve 1000 reps. For me personally, I reckon we may as well make it 1001. So, how about….. 1000 TGU’s !? I think this would be a mutha of a challenge. Who’s in?

Trent, 1000 reps of the 12kg kettlebell is a workout involving moving 12,000kg. How about evolving this concept and creating ANOTHER workout/challenge called the “12 tons with one arm” challenge. The objective would be to lift/press/snatch 12 tons with one arm in as few reps as possible. so for instance, one could do 500 snatches wiith the 24, or 250 presses with the 48kg (excpet that might take the whole day…)

1000 snatches (1 hand)

Based on the 1000-rep challenge. (If you aren’t familiar with this, it’s simple. Do 1000 snatches without putting down the kettlebell. You can change hands as often as you like. Rest position is the lockout at the top of the snatch) For the proposed version, I want to do 1000 reps with the same hand. My suggestion is a 12kg kettlebell. I thought maybe even allow a racked rest position as well as the overhead lockout. I did test if it was even vaguely possible, using the LastManStanding workout trial run
