A variation on the VO2max workout.

Start with the usual 6min calibration set. On the work sets, get 3 different sized kettlebells.

We work in 3min rounds, using the usual 15s work/15s rest, so a set of L & R uses 1min.

min 1: light

min 2: medium

min 3: heavy

 

Total of 65mins with a few rests here and there. The objective is to keep to the same number on all 3 weights, so you push yourself progressively harder on each of the 3 subsets

The last round, increase the weights. So… most sets…16kg,20kg,24kg….last set 20kg,24kg,32kg

 

Finish with a 2min bridge straight out of the last set to crank up the heart rate. This forces you to take control of your breathing, which is a great drill
